Walk a Mile, Fall 2021
Walk a Mile project asks students to design and develop their own footwear that expresses who they are and what is important to them. The curriculum engages the student early through making quick experimental sketch prototypes. Through this exercise, students learn about the anatomy of their feet and ergonomic considerations in designing footwear. A deeper empathy for the wearer is developed through critique and analysis.
